St Giles Church:

At St Giles, the Mass for All Saints Day will be transferred to Sunday November 2nd at 10am and the Mass for All Souls Day will be transferred to Sunday November 9th at 10am and observed alongside Remembrance Sunday.  However, St Giles are putting on a ticketed film and live music event on All Hallows Eve:

Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, The Lodger is a silent film set in 1920's London. At night, lurking in the fog, a murderer known as 'The Avenger' is on the loose and when a mysterious lodger (Ivor Novello) moves in to the upstairs room of Mr and Mrs Bunting, suspicions begin to rise...

Live music will be performed by Camberwell Community Choir and local musicians. Families are welcome, but the film is rated 'PG' and may not suit younger children.

Everyone is very welcome to come in costume, either in scary clothes or in 1920's period dress! A bar is available and tickets will be sold on the door. The film running time is 80 mins and there will be a short interval. If you want to make a night of it - why not head down to the crypt afterwards?! There will be live jazz from 9.30pm courtesy of a band called PARAGON.

Combined tickets for the film and the band are available at www.wegottickets.com The crypt has good food, a fully stocked bar and is open till late!
