Children & Young People's Mission and Ministry (CYPMM) in Camberwell

Stephen Hance[1] and Hugh Ridsdill-Smith[2] have written to parish representatives to obtain nominations for a person to act as Deanery Champions for Children and Young people's ministry on behalf of your church.

The idea behind nominating representatives is to set up good communication links between parishes, Deaneries and the Diocese in order to understand needs, provide resources and give support to parishes and deaneries performing work in this vital area.

Most nominations have already been received from churches within the Camberwell Deanery, but if you've not written to Hugh Ridsdill-Smith nominating your representative, it would be great if you could do so as soon as possible.  (Ideally, the nominees should be folk in charge of your young people's work).

Cleo has also asked that deanery synod members begin to consider who would be an appropriate Deanery Youth Champion and bring your ideas to the next meeting. A person specification for both roles is attached to the bottom of this post.

Our next Deanery Synod meeting will be on Thursday 14th May at 7pm for 7.30pm at St Giles Church, Camberwell.
