Christ Church, Peckham (based at 676 - 680 Old Kent Road) is the venue for a series of events organised by Groundwork within the coming months .  These are not church events, but they are open to residents within the London Borough of Southwark.

Portable Gardens:

Four family-focused eco-design gardening workshops will take place from 10am - 12noon on Saturdays from 15th November 2014 to 13th December 2014.  There will be opportunities to plant herbs, collect seeds, create containers and make Christmas wreathes.  This could be an exciting activity for children without access to gardens.  You do not need to attend every event. If interested in attending, you don't need to book, but please email Sarayu Shah (sarayu.shah@groundwork.org.uk) to give her an idea of numbers:

Machine Embroidery:

In addition, a 5-week embroidery course will run from 10am - 1pm on Tuesday 18th November 2014 to Tuesday 16th December 2014.

Numbers are quite limited due to one to one support and training you would receive. Those attending would need to be able to commit to attend all 5 sessions. Booking in advance is essential.  If you're interested in taking part, please telephone (07450 332056) or email the course tutor, Betty, at embroideryandcraftsboutique@gmail.com
